Changes in Memory Gate wedding websites

Due to a change in user licence agreements we’ve had to change the way we host your wedding website. In the past we have used the social network builder Ning to host all of our clients wedding websites. From July 2010 Ning are introducing a $3.95 monthly charge for these websites.

If you wish to keep your Ning site then let us know otherwise we’ll set up and brand new wedding website within What Where Who Weddings.

Here’s a video showing you all of the features in our new wedding websites.

Visit to Queen’s Eyot

It might have been a bank holiday weekend full of wind and rain but the weather held out for us for a visit to Queen’s Eyot in Windsor on Saturday.

Queen’s Eyot is a secluded four acre island on the Thames, a few miles upstream from Windsor. The island is accessed by its own private ferry so it is a perfect and unusual venue for weddings. We’ll be photographing Jo and Ed’s wedding there in September.

Here’s a couple of shots from the day.

For more information about Queen’s Eyot visit www.queenseyot.co.uk.

New year = new rules

Happy new year and welcome to the….erm….. Tennies, Tenties, Teenies or if you’re Australian …. ‘One-ders’

We have lots of projects in development at the moment so we have decided to set a few rules (for ourselves at least) in terms of what we post here at The Gatekeepers.

Monday is Blog Day – Expect to see all of Memory Gate’s news mainly being updated on Monday. This doesn’t mean that we won’t chuck a few other posts in there midweek from time to time though.

First Monday of the month is our Memory Gate Blog Digest – We currently have two other blogs running at the moment and we’ll give you a little taste of them each month.

These are our two other blogs –

What Where Who Weddings – Everything weddings. Tips, interviews, photos, ramblings and a touch of humour!

Photo Creative 365 – Michael’s brand new (and perhaps slightly ambitious) personal 365 photo project combined with daily creative posts.

We also have some new websites in development which we’re be officially launching from this blog later this month.
